How to install?
STEP 1: Free feasibility is made for your pool and within 2 business days price offer will be sent to you.
STEP 2: After the approval, within 10 working days, a half hour installation will be done with the pool technician. The ionization system is mounted in the engine room, the device settings are made and the electrode tube is attached to the pipe carrying water to the pool.
STEP 3: First week, use the ionization system with the old disinfection method.
STEP 4: At the end of the first week, the ion level of the pool is measured, values range should be between 0.2 to 0.3 ppm.
STEP 5: If the values are in the desired range, the settings of the chlorine dosing systems are reduced and the chlorine level should be dropped to 0.3 - 0.6 ppm.
How will you use it?
We have summarized what you need to pay attention to in your pool maintenance to get the best benefit from the Iontek ionization system.
We will always be there for you when you need anything.
Values to Measure
-
Amount of chlorine 0.3 to 0.6 ppm values should be kept. Chlorine measurement as per regulation 2 times a day should continue to be measured.
-
The ion value of the pool as the ions do not evaporate once a week should be measured and 0.2 - 0.3ppm should be in the range.
-
If these intervals do not occur, the ionization voltage on the device and the machine operating time will be evaluated together (timer) and changed and brought to the desired range in 2-3 days.
Actions You Will Reduce
-
With ionization, filter contamination and pressure remain at low levels. For this reason, for the backwash process you need to decide according to pressure level. (More than 2.5 bar) As an example, the backwash process can be decrease from twice a week to once a month.
-
Since the ph value of the water is not deteriorated, you will decrease the amount of ph lowering acid according to the amount of chemicals that you decreased.
-
Sweeping process as there will be no algae will be decrease.
-
Electrode replacement will be required at the point where you cannot increase the ion level. On average every 6 months electrode replacement may be required. You can also see how much electrode left from the transparent tube.
Actions You Will Not Do
-
You no longer need to apply the shocking process.
-
You reset the precipitant usage to zero.
-
You do not use algaecide.
